Molten International Tournament Prizes announced

Original post at http://adf.ly/CjLFP

Hello,

We would like to officially welcome everyone to the new Molten International Tournament series. After weeks of preparation, with the collaboration of Deathwing’s Tournament creators and Molten’s staff we have formed the new tradition of a cross-realm arena tournament series hosted on both Cataclysm and Wrath of the Lich King expansions. Players will have the chance prove their worth and skill while fighting for valuable prizes and rewards. Application forms will be available soon for players who are interested!

For each expansion, teams will be able to submit applications. A separate dedicated server will host the tournament and players who qualify from each realm will have the specified characters copied over to the Tournament Realm. The events will be streamed live so other people will be able to watch it in real time! Teams will be randomly sorted in a single-elimination bracket. Each match will consist of three games. The team with the best out of three will advance. Prizes consist of 6x ATI Radeon HD 7870 Graphics Card, 6x Razer Naga Molten Edition Gaming Mouse, and over 1000 Coins with an estimated total value of $3600!

Molten – the first private server with (hopefully) Cross-Realm Battlegrounds

Molten-WoW has taken a step further than any other private server has, and is working to implement cross-realm battlegrounds.

Here is an update on what’s been happening lately.

Cross-Realm battleground development
We started working on this about 1.5 months ago and it’s still in early development. This is the single most complex and challenging feature we had ever undertaken but we started on it. We don’t exclude a possibility that at one point we will stumble upon some issue which will make this impossible for us due to limitations in infrastructure, manpower or even expertise, but current realms are already running with some of the major internal structural changes required to make this long-term goal possible. Current estimation is 2-4 months.

Rated BGs are coming sooner to private servers than we think

Molten, WoW Freakz, and Monster WoW are coming very close to releasing rated battlegrounds.

Monster WoW has only given a release date, however Molten and WoW Freakz might release sooner, it’s only a matter of time.

On all the server’s websites, there are the following announcements:

Molten-WoW:

WoW-Freakz:

Monster-WoW:

GladiatorLosSA for WoW 4.0.6a/WoW 3.3.5a

SoundAlerter

SoundAlerter is an addon that alerts players via sound when enemies are casting or have used certain abilities aswell as a tracker for when abilities have worn off (eg. divine shield down, deterrence down)
Originally formed from the idea of GladiatorLosSA, a Cataclysm addon which has over 1.1 million downloads, this addon helps us alot in PvP, and in my opinion better than the Gladius cooldown trackers (Can be used well in conjuction with this aswell as SpellAlerter)

Addon Features:
  • Alerts you when enemies have casted special abilities
  • Supports Customisation of where you want the addon enabled.
  • Supports a “Target and Focus only” option (to avoid spamming in Battlegrounds)
  • The “Target and Focus only” option also alert you if debuffs that have afflicted you from players that aren’t your target or focus
  • The Addon has english sounds and limited Spanish sounds. If you want to contribute, PM me or bump the thread
  • Supports Chat alerts in party, arena and BG.
  • Supports custom sound and chat alerts for arena partners when they’re CC’d

1. If an update is mentioned on the forum, the easiest way to update the addon is by deleting the SoundAlerter folder in your wow folder/interface/addons- make sure you have saved any mp3s, etc that you have added

Gladiatorlossa for 3.3.5a

SoundAlerter is an addon that alerts players via sound when enemies are casting or have used certain abilities aswell as a tracker for when abilities have worn off (eg. divine shield down, deterrence down)
This unique addon helps us alot in PvP, as in my opinion better than the Gladius cooldown trackers (Can be used well in conjuction with this aswell as SpellAlerter)

* I have been working on an addon called SoundAlerter, originally formed from the idea of GladiatorlosSA
* GladiatorlosSA is a 4.2 addon which I’m changing to support for 3.3.5a.
* Originally it is a Chinese addon which I have translated to work with enUS clients, or any en_ client ONLY
* At the moment I have done most of the work of changing LUA functions and the chinese so that it will work now.
* As I said this is in development which is likely to bring up LUA errors, I have only tested battlegrounds which seems to be running smoothly at the moment, I will need someone testing arenas, but as far as I can see, it should work fine

* Slash commands to bring up SoundAlerter will be /soundalerter

I would like your input on the addon,
If you find any issues or suggestions with the addon, feel free to bump here, or go to:
https://github.com/trolololol/SoundA…-3.3.5a/issues

Make sure you have your sound effects on so that you can hear it.
Currently there’s only 1 voice, and also voices from 4.2, so there’s different spells in the folder, I will soon probably be adding hopefully more voices (someone can do this by sending me a mp3 of names of abilities, etc)

I will most likely *hopefully* be updating the addon to fix/improve things so if you find a bug/something to improve on, visit the URL for any updates

URL: https://github.com/trolololol/SoundAlerter-3.3.5a
1. Click Download
2. Click Zip
3. Extract the SoundAlerter Folder (inside the trololol-SoundAlerter3.3.5a folder) into your WoW folder/Interface/Addons/

This can also be used for updating your addon, by replacing the old files

ENJOY

What goes great with this addon:
